ARC Bavarian Walk, Saturday 11th to Saturday 18th September, 2010

This popular walk is based in the Alpine village of Oberstdorf in the Allgau region of Southern Germany, bordering Austria. Professional guides will lead walkers in a trek into the Alps where the Alpine scenery and air is spectacular, the experience unforgettable.

Hotel accommodation: We stay in a wonderful family-run hotel in the beautiful village of Oberstdorf, based on twin sharing.

Meals: Breakfast and evening meals are included

Walking itinerary: On Sunday morning, we start the first of four days of spectacular walks around the Bavarian alps including a fabulous walk into Austria. We usually walk to our lunch stops which are located in the huts in the mountains, where the food is excellent.

Guides: We have regular guides who have been with us since our first trip and they are very experienced and friendly

Fitness levels: Medium to good
